Grandpa Shoots Grandson Over Chainsaw Scuffle In Davao Del Norte
GRANDPA SHOOTS GRANDSON – An 85-year-old grandfather was arrested for shooting his grandson.
Scuffles between family members are quite common. However, some take it too far, much like a grandfather and a grandson from Davao Del Norte. Instead of talking things out, the fight between them quickly escalated.
According to reports, the grandpa shot his 27-year-old grandson inside their own home in Sta. Fe, Davao Del Norte, due to an argument over a chainsaw last Thursday. Based on police investigations, the grandson changed the guide bar of his grandfather’s chainsaw.
Apparently, the grandfather got so mad at his grandson that he took out his .357 revolver and shot him on the left shoulder. Afterward, the grandson was sent to the hospital.
Unfortunately, he was declared “dead-on-arrival”. Following the incident, the grandfather turned himself in without any resistance. As per the report, the grandpa may be facing charges of homicide. Furthermore, the police also confiscated his weapon.
