The Nokia 8 V 5G UW was announced on November 9, 2020, and released on November 12, 2020. The 5G-ready device comes in a 6.81 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that gives 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The dimension of the smartphone is 171.9 x 78.6 x 9 mm and weighs 230 grams.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM7250 Snapdragon 765G 5G (7 nm) Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 620. It runs on the Android 10 operating system. The device is packed with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Nokia 8 V 5G UW sports a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 64-megapixel (wide) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor. On the front, there’s a 24-megapixel camera for clicking selfies.

Sensors on the smartphone include a compass, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and fingerprint (side-mounted). It also features USB On-The-Go, USB Type-C 2.0, FM radio, NFS, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The device is powered by a 4500 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W. It was launched in a single color, Meteor Gray.
