The OnePlus 9R 5G was announced on March 23, 2021, and released on April 14, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 850 5G (7nm) Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 650.

OnePlus 9R 5G runs on the Android 11 + OxygenOS 11 operating system. The smartphone come in variants such as 128GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 8GB RAM, and 256GB + 12GB RAM.

The smartphone comes in a 6.55” screen size and the display is a Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It has the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), a glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and an aluminum frame.

The rear camera of the OnePlus 9R 5G consists of a 48-megapixel (wide) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) while on the front, there is a single 16-megapixel (wide) camera.

It is powered by a 4500 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 65W. The smartphone is available in two colors: Lake Blue and Carbon Black.

Connectivity options on the device include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, and USN On-The-Go. The phone’s sensors include proximity, accelerometer, compass, gyro, and fingerprint (under display, optical).
