The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold was announced on March 2021 and released on April 16, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone is built with a glass front (folded), plastic front (unfolded), and glass back (Gorilla Glass 5) or ceramic back, aluminum frame.

The dimension of the 5G-ready smartphone is: Folded: 173.3 x 69.8 x 17.2 mm Unfolded: 173.3 x 133.4 x 7.6 mm. It weighs 317 g (Glass) / 332 g (Ceramic) (11.18 oz).

Mi Mix Fold comes with a screen size of 8.01 inches folded AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1860 x 2480 pixels. It was launched in two colors: Ceramic and Black.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is powered by the Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 660. The phone runs on the Android 10 + MIUI 12 operating system.

The device come in variants such as 256GB + 12GB RAM, 512GB + 12GB RAM, and 512GB + 16GB RAM. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The rear side of the smartphone sports a triple camera that consists of 108-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto/macro) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide). For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 20-megapixel (wide) camera.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with tri-band A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, Infrared port, and USB Type-C. The phone’s sensors include color spectrum, barometer, accelerometer, proximity, compass, proximity, gyro, and fingerprint (side-mounted).

It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5020 mAh battery + fast charging 67W + Power Delivery 3.0 + Quick Charge 4+.
