The Motorola Moto G50 was officially announced on March 25, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone is built with a glass front, a plastic back, and a plastic frame.
Motorola Moto G50 comes in a 6.5 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. It measures 164.9 x 74.9 x 9 mm and weighs 192 grams.
The smartphone supports single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). Moto G50 is powered by the Qualcomm SM4350 Snapdragon 480 5G (8 nm) Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 619. It is packed with 4GB of RAM while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options.
Motorola Moto G50 sports a triple-camera setup at the back comprising of a 48-megapixel (wide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) sensor. On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel camera for shooting selfies.
Connectivity options on the phone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB On-The-Go, and USB Type-C 2.0. Sensors on the Moto G50 include a barometer, proximity, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and fingerprint (rear-mounted).
The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 15W. It was launched in Aqua Green and Steel Gray colors.
