BuCor Warns People Pretending as Fake Prison Officers Soliciting Contributions

The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) warned the public against people pretending as fake prison officers soliciting contributions for future programs.

BuCor official warned about the reported solicitation from their impersonating employee. According to them, those persons are impersonating as its senior officers and soliciting funds for alleged future programs.

 “There are certain individuals impersonating BuCor senior officers, personally calling BuCor partners or suppliers seeking for solicitation for future events,” BuCor said.

“We would like to inform the public that BuCor has not authorized any individual to conduct such activity especially using the name of the BuCor officials,” the letter added.

BuCor stressed that “there is no personnel allowed to solicit favors and goods on behalf of BuCor.” It requested the public to help in identifying those involved in the illegal activity.
