The OnePlus 9 5G was officially announced on March 23, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone comes in a 6.55” screen size and the display is a Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

The smartphone has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass), a glass back (Gorilla Glass), and a plastic frame.

OnePlus 9 5G is powered by Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 660. It runs on the Android 11 + OxygenOS 11 operating system.

OnePlus 9 5G is pack with 8GB and 12GB RAM options while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The smartphone sports a triple-camera setup at the back comprising of a 48-megapixel (wide) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth). On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel (wide) camera for shooting selfies.

It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery + fast charging 65W _ fast wireless charging 15W + USB Power Delivery. It was launched in Astral Black, Arctic Sky, and Winter Mist colors.

Connectivity options on the phone include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, SBAS, NFC, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 3.1.
