Real NBI Agents Arrested Fake NBI Agent Selling Illegal Firearms in Davao City
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) operatives arrested a man who pretended as fake agent to sell illegal firearms in Davao City.
A man who identified himself as an agent of the NBI and was selling firearms was arrested in Davao City in a joint entrapment operation conducted by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Talomo Police Station.
The suspect was identified as Matias Relacion. He was arrested at Crocodile Park in Diversion Road, Davao City on Tuesday afternoon.

Relacion was found to be receiving marked money from an operative who pretended to be a buyer. In the ABS-CBN report, police said Relacion was not connected to the NBI.
Authorities confiscated a sub-machine gun, a .38 caliber revolver, six NBI IDs, a wallet with an NBI badge, NBI reflectorized vest, and other bullets. The suspect is already facing charges of violating Republic Act 10591 or Firearms and Ammunitions Law and violating Article 177 of the Revised Penal Code or Usurpation of Official Function.
Meanwhile, NBI agents rrested a man pretending to be an NBI agent to extort money from the victims. The suspected allegedly pretended to be an agent of the NBI to extort money from a person with a passport problem.
