From acting to becoming one of the most respected make-up artists in the Philippines, Fanny Serrano indeed has a colorful life in the entertainment industry.

He first appeared in movies such as ‘Bakit may Bilanggo sa Anak ni Eba? in 1973 and ‘Babae’ with Amalia Fuentes, Pilar Pilapil, and Gloria Diaz. Fanny’s career in doing make-up debuted through Celia Rodriguez’s movie ‘Maligno, based on the article in GMA.

He was the make-up artist and hairstylist of the lead actress in the said movie in 1977. In the 1987 movie ‘Maria Went to Town’ of Maricel Soriano, Fanny started becoming a costume designer.

When Fanny Serrano did the make-up of Megastar Sharon Cuneta in the movie ‘Kahit Konting Pagtingin’, their friendship bloomed. After that, the two have worked together in various movie projects of the Megastar.

Aside from doing make-up and hairstyles behind-the-scenes, he became also the creative director of the 1983 movie ‘Init Sa Magdamag.’

Fanny returned to acting in 2010 through the film ‘Tarima’, joining him in the cast were Rocky Salumbides and Gloria Romero. Then in 2018, he did a behind-the-scene job again as the wardrobe and make-up stylist in the GMA TV series ‘Sirkus, aside from playing the role of Veritas.
