CIW Temporarily Bans “Paabot Service” to Inmates Amid General Quarantine

The Correctional Institute for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City has temporarily banned the “Paabot Service” to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

CIW Paabot Service

In the social media post of CIW, the service is temporarily disallowed its inmates from accepting items while the National Capital Region (NCR) and four nearby provinces are under a general community quarantine bubble until April 4.

The said service is where CIW inmates, subject to inspection, are allowed to receive food, clothing, and personal needs from their families and friends. Authorities set the time and date of the said service.
