Andrea Brillantes Answers If She’s Ready To Tackle Mature Roles
ANDREA BRILLANTES – Recently, actress Andrea Brillantes did an interview where she answers if she she’s ready to take on more mature roles.
Netizens were in awe after a series of photos of Andrea celebrating her 18th birthday circulated social media. Here, we can see a more confident and fierce woman – a far cry from her previous roles.
However, when she was asked if this was an sight that she’d be tackling more mature roles in her next shows, the actress answered in the negative. During an interview with ABS-CBN, she said:
“Hindi pa po ako siguro ready for more mature roles. ‘Yung nakita niyo na photo shoot, since wala akong debut, wala akong celebration, nag-isip lang ako“.
Furthermore, she explained why she chose to use red lipstick on her photos. According to her, she always asked her mom at what age she could use the color and her mom said when she’d turn 18.
“Kailan ako puwede mag-red lipstick, Ma?’ tapos ang binigay niya sa aking age ay 18 so ito ang age na puwede na ako mag-red lipstick”
Although Andrea said she’s not quite ready to do mature roles, she emphasized that she wants to level-up the characters she’s playing. “Mas matapang na siguro ako, mas woman na, ganun“. However, she did say that she can’t handle sleeping alone.
