Christine Dacera Case: NBI To Finalize Charges In Connection To Death
CHRISTINE DACERA CASE – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is expected to finalize the charges in connection the mysterious death of Christine Dacera.
The case of the flight attendant’s death became a viral sensation when it hit media outlets on January 1st. Since then, several stories and angles were presented. However, despite several autopsy reports and medical examinations saying her death was natural, Dacera’s family pursued the case.
According to an article from GMA, NBI Spokesperson Ferdinand Lavin said they would file charges. But, he declined to provide further details about this.
Instead, he said that the charges are different from the previous homicide/rape complaints the police previously filed. As per the article, he said:
We maintain the level of confidentiality insofar as the full result of the investigation is concerned. Out of respect to DID (Death Investigation Division), I do not want to preempt them
Initially, the police accused Dacera’s friends with her death. However, medico legal reports from the PNP Crime Laboratory ruled this out. Instead, the report suggested the cause of death to be a ruptured aortic aneurysm.
