Petroleum Products Price Rollback To Take Effect On March 9, 2021

PETROLEUM PRODUCTS – Several oil firms have recently announced a price rollback on petroleum products starting Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

According to ABS-CBN News, this followed after four consecutive weeks of oil price hikes where the prices of diesel and gasoline have increased to P4 per liter and the P3.50 for the price of kerosene overall.

Oil firms Shell, Seaoil, Petro Gazz at Cleanfuel have announced a reduction of price of gasoline by P0.10 per liter, and P0.35 per liter decrease for the price of diesel.

Shell and Seaoil said that the price of kerosene will also decrease by P0.55 per liter.

The price rollback is set to take effect at 6 AM Tuesday. Cleanfuel said that it will implement the price change at 8:01 AM on the same day, based on the report.

Labor group Defend Jobs Philippines earlier staged a protest last week regarding the continuous increase of pump prices, which iy claimed would increase travel costs.
