JC de Vera talked about his relationship with Rikkah Cruz
Kapamilya actor JC de Vera has finally spoken about his wedding with Rikkah Cruz and this happened back in 2018.
JC guested on the recent vlog of his La Vida Lena co-star Erich Gonzalez. In the recently uploaded YouTube video, the actor shared his life behind the camera. He admitted that he is not fond of posting on social media and he is just choosing strictly what he wants to share.
When Erich noticed that he kept on referring to Rikkah as his “wife”, the actress asked, “Wife? Kasal na kayo?”
“Yes. civil. Oo, last year pa. Ay, hindi last year… last, last. Basta bago lumabas si Lana,” JC de Vera revealed.
Based on the article in PEP, Lana Athena is the daughter of JC and Rikkah who is now one year old. It was in May of 2018 when the actor first admitted to the public that he is a father now.
When Erich said that they know nothing about this, JC said that it is because he never told this to the public. He shared that they had a civil wedding first as they have planned. Then, the church wedding will follow.
However, due to the pandemic, they moved the initially scheduled church wedding. JC said that this will happen anytime this year.
“Hindi talaga ako yung ma-announcement, big announcement. [Pero] hindi secret. I will always tell everyone,” the actor said.
The actor added that his wife is organizing already the things needed for their church wedding. He also shared that it was his choice to leave singlehood.
“Talagang kinalimutan ko yung buhay-binata. Oo, choice yun, I swear. Para sa lahat ng mga ano, nag-enjoy sa pagka-binata, siguro at one point in their lives, mag-decide then sila na, ‘Ayoko na ‘yan, hindi ko na babalikan ‘yan,’” JC de Vera shared.
