The Honor V40 5G was released on January 22, 2020. The smartphone comes in a 6.72” screen size and the display is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution.
The dimension of the smartphone is 163.1 x 74.3 x 8mm and weighs 189 grams. The device supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). However, the phone did not come with google play services or google play.
Honor V40 5G is by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G77 MC9. It runs on the Android 10 + Magic UI 4.0. The phone is integrated with 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128GB and 256GB options.
The rear side of the Honor V40 5G features a triple-camera that consists of 50-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro). On the front, there’s a16-megapixel (wide) camera for shooting selfies.
Sensors on the phone include a compass, proximity, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (under display, optical). It also features WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS, NFC, Infrared port, USB Type-C, and USB OTG.
The smartphone is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 66W + fast wireless charging 50W + reverse charging 5W. It was launched in Titanium Silver, Rose Gold, and Midnight Black colors.
