Ogie Alcasid makes revelations about Ian Veneracion
OPM icon Ogie Alcasid called actor-singer Ian Veneracion “lumang tao’ and here is the reason why he said that.
Ogie and Ian had a special bonding as they were working on a project. They were supposed to have their concert last year but it was postponed due to the pandemic. Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Ogie said that they had to return the money to those who already bought the ticket since it was rescheduled.
“A lot of people were disappointed, then we had to return their money dahil ang dami na nung bumili ng tickets,” he shared. Fortunately, they were able to work things out and their concert collaboration is set to happen on March 26 at Music Museum and it will be streamed on ktx.ph. It is titled ‘Kilabotitos’.
“We pursued doing the concert kasi kating-kati na kami ni Ian to do this. Nabitin kami, when we’re so excited to do this,” the comedian-singer said. Working with Ian Veneracion, Ogie Alcasid said that he discovered things about his concert co-star.
One of those things was that Ian is a “lumang tao”. “I’m surprised that lumang tao siya. He enjoys the songs of my high school years. Music from the ‘70s and ‘80s,” Ogie revealed.
Aside from this, the husband of Regine Velasquez said that unlike other artists that he worked with in the past, Ian is just calm and enjoying what he is doing.
“Also, I’ve collaborated with many artists, they get nervous, pero si Ian parang hindi kinakabahan. He just loves the stage and he just loves to sing. Enjoy na enjoy siya, he loves what he’s doing. And that’s the mark of a good performer,” Ogie Alcasid shared.
