The Honor 9A was announced on April 29, 2020, and released on May 4, 2020. The device measures 159.1 x 74.1 x 9 mm and weighs 185 grams.
Honor 9A comes in a 6.3” screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
The smartphone is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 MT6762R processor and runs on Android 10 + Magic UI 3.2. The graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8320. The phone packs 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Honor 9A sports a triple-camera setup at the back comprising of a 13-megapixel (wide) + 5-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth). On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for clicking selfies.
The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable). It was launched in Green, Blue, and Black colors.
Connectivity options on the device include a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB OTG, and MicroUSB 2.0. The phone’s sensors include proximity, accelerometer, and fingerprint (rear-mounted).
