Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis defended the relationship of Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna after they finally confirmed it.
It all started with just a rumor when Ellen and Derek’s sweet photos surfaced online during a dinner party at the hunk actor’s house in January. From that, they were spotted together more often.
Despite the bashing that they received on social media, the two celebrities continue to post their photos together during their trips and bonding moments.
Just recently, Derek Ramsay finally confirmed that he and Ellen Adarna are dating now. Some netizen and showbiz fans accepted this confirmation from the hunk actor, however, there were still those who expressed mean comments against him and his new girlfriend.
In line with this, Lolit Solis shared her thoughts through a recent IG post. The veteran entertainment columnist questioned why other people reacted negatively to the relationship of Derek and Ellen.
Manay Lolit stressed that there is nothing wrong with that as they are both single and have no commitments. “Pinagtagpo ng mga pangyayari, nagka gustuhan, di ba maganda ? Love is happiness, dapat pag meron nakitang nagmamahal, maging maligaya ang lahat,” she added.
She also said that Ellen and Derek both came from a relationship that did not work and she is hoping that they have found the love that they are looking for.
“Makikita din nila John Lloyd Cruz at Andrea Torres ang para sa kanila, at siguro kahit sila wish din na sana maging maligaya sila Derek at Ellen,” Manay Lolit said.
She also shared encouraging words saying that as long as they are happy they should go for it because time is just limited.
