Xiaomi Redmi K40 is powered by the Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 850 5G Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 650. It runs on Android 11 + MIUI 12. The device come in variants such as 128GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 8GB RAM and 256GB + 12GB.

The smartphone has the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes in a 6.67 inches screen size and the display is Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4520 mAh battery + fast charging 33W + Power Delivery 3.0 + Quick Charge 3+. The smartphone is available in three colors: Aurora, White, and Black.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include a WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6. Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, BDS, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, Infrared port, USB OTG, and USB Type-C 2.0. The phone’s sensors include proximity, color spectrum, compass, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (side-mounted).
