PDEA, PNP Operatives Destroys Illegal Drug Plants Worth P8-M in Kalinga
Operatives of PDEA and PNP joined forces to seized and destroy illegal drug plants called “Maryjane” worth P8 million in Tingalayan, Kalinga.
With the joined force of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) operatives in Tingalayan, Kalinga, P8 million worth of “Maryjane” were destroyed.

According to the article of Inquirer, the illegal drug plants were being cultivated in five sites in Barangay Loccong. The Loccong crackdown stemmed after 41 paks of drug plant bricks were confiscated in Quezon, Isabela.
Earlier, a young delivery driver was arrested and seized 55 kilos of alleged “Maryjane” bricks amounting to P6.6 million. Also, 500 grams of crystal meth (shabu) were seized from last week’s operation.
Police Lt. Col. Andree Camhol-Abella, PNP-Cagayan Valley regional spokesperson said operatives have burned 21,600 marijuana plants, 30 dried stalks, and a kilo of seeds.
