Netizens have these reactions to the prank of Jake Cuenca
Actor Jake Cuenca shared a video on his social media account showing the proposal that he did to his girlfriend Kylie Verzosa and this received various reactions from netizens.
Jake and Kylie have been together for two years now. Speculations surfaced that they are already living together. In an interview, the actress admitted that this is true. She shared that during the lockdown, she and Jake started living in one house.
With this, the anticipation that they would tie the knot soon is inevitable. Apparently, this was the anticipation of their fellow celebrities as well when Jake Cuenca shared this supposed proposal video.
In the video, there was a romantic date setup. Jake was holding the camera that was focused on Kylie. “So, I prepared this because I just wanted to ask you one thing,” he said.
The face of the actress showed that she was surprised and somehow anticipating the next words that her boyfriend will say. “So, here it goes… kumain… kumain ka na ba?” Jake asked.
Kylie appeared to be on the brink of crying but then laughed. “You love it, Boo?” the actor asked and his girlfriend said answered, “Super! Except you. Wow.”
Several celebrities commented on this with the anticipation that Jake would pop up the question as they expected that it was already a proposal.
Many netizens commented that that was a bad joke and that Kylie Verzosa does not deserve that although there were those who said that the couple looks cute.
Because of this Jake received criticisms. One netizen said that for most ladies, this is a bad joke. The answer of the actor to this was “Yes but we are not like most. We get each other and we get the timing of things. When the time is right and the timing is [right] I will not hesitate to ask.”
In the comment section, Kylie also explained that she already knew what Jake would ask to her. However, there were netizens who did not buy her explanation.
