Chinese National Fugitive Allegedly Connected in Pampanga’s Shabu-lab Arrested

Authorities arrested a Chinese national fugitive who is also allegedly connected to the shabu-lab previously shutdown in Pampanga.

The Chinese national was arrested in San Isidro Town, Nueva Ecija province. Based on the report, the foreign is allegedly connected to a former shabu laboratory in Pampanga province

PRO3 Director P / BGen. Valeriano De Leon identified the suspect as Kunsheng Chen, alias Intsek / Jhony, 45, Chinese national, businessman, resident of Purok 7, San Roque, in the said town.

The suspect was arrested by Operation Manhunt Charlie under a warrant of arrest signed by Presiding Judge Mildred Villaroman-Hernal of RTC Gapan Branch 35 for two counts of violation of RA 9160 amended by RA 9194 and RA 10365 or Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001.

Along with his charge, a bail of P140,000 for each case was set for his temporary release. According to authorities, the charges filed against the suspect in connection with the arrest of a Xinli Chen are relevant.

The suspect escaped the assault by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and other Anti-Drugs Unit operatives on a shabu laboratory a few years ago in Magalang town, Pampanga.
