Soldier, Three Others Nabbed In Buy Bust In Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City
ZAMBOANGA CITY – A soldier and his three cohorts were recently arrested in a buy-bust operation in Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the soldier is a member of the Philippine Army, with the rank of Private First Class.
Investigations conducted by the police show that the operatives recovered 12 packs of suspected illegal drugs, which are worth at about P15,000 from the suspects.
The suspects are currently under the custody of Police Station 11, and will face charges for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, based on the report.
In another drug report, the police arrested seven drug suspects in Pasig who were having a pot session.

They were being dragged by their colleague who were chased by the authorities for having a gun strapped to their waist.
Retrieved from the suspects were drug paraphernalia, several transparent plastic sachets of illegal drugs, four aluminum foils containing illegal drugs, two glass tube pipes, two lighters, a .38 caliber revolver, and three bullets.
