Samantha Bernardo is ready to represent the Philippines
Beauty queen Samantha Bernardo shared her strategy as the representative of the Philippines for the Miss Grand International 2020 competition.
Although there had been some delays in various pageant schedules, Samantha is set to compete with other candidates from around the next month.
During a virtual send-off for the Pinay beauty queen, she said that she will be traveling to Bangkok early for the pageant. Although the competition will be on March 27, her flight to Thailand will on February 24, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
It is because there are just two scheduled flights to Bangkok before the pageant and the other schedule will be on March 1. If she will fly on the latter date, she will be late for the pageant’s press conference.
“And we don’t want to be late, we want to be an early bird who catches the worm and the crown,” Samantha Bernardo said.
She shared that her signature walk has no official name yet but she is ready to strut her way to the international beauty pageant title.
“But before joining Binibining Pilipinas, before we said it’s ‘daluyong walk’ because it’s like the waves of the ocean. But now there are also ‘360 turns,’ there are ‘tornado walk,’ meron ding ‘pasambog,’ meron din tayong ‘ammonia walk’ because nakakahilo daw ‘yung walk ko,” the Pinay beauty queen said.
Samantha also shared that she received advice from first-ever Bb. Pilipinas Grand International titleholder Parul Shah. ‘
“Be yourself and always train…Always train yourself with our camp and at the same time, be yourself,’” Samantha Bernardo shared the beauty queen advice that she received.
