Public Should Be Cautious Against Fake PDEA Agents Conducting Illegal Operations
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agents (PDEA) warned the public against the fake officials wearing uniforms and conducting illegal operations.
In a report of Remate, the drug enforcement agency of the country has warned the public against fake agents who wears the agency’s uniform and conducting illegal arrests and unlawful operations.

PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva said the wearing of unauthorized PDEA uniforms or insignia is also punishable under the Penal Code. He stressed that the agency’s operations are always coordinated with the local police.
“Our operations are always coordinated with the local police and the conduct of search operations are always armed with search warrants issued by the court,” said Villanueva.
Villanueva also encourage the public to be vigilant and report to PDEA immediately if any similar incidents involving suspicious individuals pretending as PDEA agents. He said the public can report illegal activities on the “Report it to Wilkins” ” facebook page or PDEA’s hotline numbers 0995-354-70-20 and 0931-027-82-12.
