Delivery Driver, Porter Stole P600k Worth of Mung Beans and Onions
Police are now on the hunt against the delivery driver and his porter after they stole more than P600,000 worth of their cargo of mung beans and onion.
Based on the report, the products should have been brought to a buyer in Malabon City. However, the two have failed to be on time for their delivery schedule.
The suspects are identified as Marvin Enano, 24, truck driver; and Khen Palajos, porter, both residents of Baseco Compound, Port Area, Manila, when the sacks of mung beans and onions did not arrive.

Based on the complaint of businessman Johnson Tan, 24, a resident of Asuncion St., Tondo, his buyer Kevyn Sy said that his order did not arrive at Balintawak Market in Quezon City. He allegedly sent 100 sacks of mung beans and 800 sacks of garlic with a total amount of P611,000.
During the investigation by P / SSgt. Jose Romeo Germinal of the Malabon police, Tan ordered the two to pick up the produce from Super 5 Cold Storage by Gov. Pascual, Brgy. Catmon and deliver it to their buyer’s place at Balintawak Market.
Tan thought that the two had already delivered sacks of produce but he was surprised when Sy called him around 2:00 pm yesterday and asked why his ordered mung beans and onions did not yet arrive.
Tan immediately called his driver and helper on their mobile phone but did not answer so he asked for help from Manila Police District (MPD) Station 2 who advised him to file a complaint with the Malabon police. The joint forces of the MPD and Malabon police are pursuing the suspects for immediate arrest.
