The Sharp AQUOS R2 Compact comes in a 5.2 inches screen size and the display is IGZO IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. It is built with a glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), plastic back, and an aluminum frame.

The dimension of the smartphone is 131 x 64 x 9.3 mm and weighs 135 grams. It was launched in Pure Black, Deep White, and Smokey Green colors.

Sharp AQUOS R2 Compact is powered by the Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 630. It is integrated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The rear side of the Sharp AQUOS R2 Compact features a 22.6-megapixel camera. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for shooting selfies.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include a WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. The phone’s sensors include a compass, proximity, gyro, accelerometer and fingerprint.

The smartphone is fueled by a 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W.
