Here are a few details about the movie project of Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo
Are you excited for the first-ever Alden Richards-Bea Alonzo movie? These are the things we know so far about this project.
Last year, Alden and Bea worked together on a TV ad for a shampoo brand. Obviously, their short onscreen tandem for a commercial made a great impact on their fans.
Following that advertisement project that apparently received positive feedback, Bea and Alden are now set to do their first movie together.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, this movie was first reported as a joint venture of Viva Films and GMA Films. Just recently, it was reported that APT Films of Antonio “Mr. T” Tuviera will co-produce. APT, which is handling Alden, also co-produced with Star Cinema his Hello, Love, Goodbye movie with Kathryn Bernardo.
The movie of Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo is a Filipino adaptation of the South Korean film A Moment To Remember in 2004. It starred Jung Woo-sung and Son Ye-jin.
The movie revolves around the relationship of a married couple that went complicated when the woman was diagnosed with early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Japan also has its own version of the South Korean drama movie and the couple had a child which made it more dramatic.
Based on the article, bosses of GMA-7 are not yet allowing Alden Richards to play a father role and so this possibility will not happen in the Filipino adaptation. It was also said that the shooting for the film is set to start a few weeks from now.
As of the writing, the movie release date was not announced yet but it is expected that releasing this online will not be as profitable as what could be gained when released in cinemas.
