Celebrity dad Doug Kramer gives advice to fellow husbands to build better relationships with their wives just like him with Chesca Kramer.
Doug and Chesca Kramer is one of celebrity couple that really inspires many Filipino couples. The two have been dating for more than 17 years until this day and they still seem to be in-love with each other so their supporters consider them as the “epitome of relationship goals.”
Their marriage is not perfect but the couple believes that the couple’s relationship can be forever if there is compromise, trust and open communication. According to Chesca and Doug, one of the secrets to a long and happy marriage is “spoiling each other.”

The actress-TV host posted on Instagram a photo of them that she called “date nights at home.” “Spoiled wife, spoiled husband, too! It works both ways. It’s just but right for husband and wife to spend time and to continue to date each other.
“There is plenty of room to grow and get to know each other even more. It should not be optional, it’s obligatory – out of your love and devotion to your spouse,” Chesca captioned in her IG post.
Doug’s advice to young couples today, “Work through your troubles and misunderstandings and never let a day pass when you argue and fight. 17 years together, and we have never let an argument last more than a day.
“Takedown your pride, say sorry first, and admit your ownz faults rather than pointing fingers. Work on what you need to do rather than trying to change your partner’s attitude. And remember, love is more than an emotion. It’s always a choice. Oh btw, husbands… date your wife.”
The two became boyfriend-girlfriend for five years before getting married in October 9, 2008 at Blue Leaf Events Place, McKinley Hill in Taguig City. They have been married for more than 12 years and have been blessed with three children, Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin.
