Loyal Pet Dog Fakes Limp to Imitate the Injury of its Owner
Pet owner spend a huge amount of money for his dog vet checkup as it walk with a limp but later learned he only fakes it out of sympathy.
Russell Jones shared in the Lurcher Link Rescue chat, a public Facebook group, his video with pet dog Billy. Russell’s right leg is bandaged and he uses a crutch while walking.
Billy, on the other hand, can be seen with one foot raised and also staggering when walking. In an interview with him in a morning show in the UK, Russell said that the video was in June last year and he recently shared it on social media.
According to him, he was using a crutch due to a sprained ankle when he fell. He said that when he was walking outside with his pet Billy, he noticed that he was walking with an injured leg, so he took him to the vet for a checkup.
He allegedly spent £ 300 or the equivalent of about P20,000 for vet fees, x-rays and pain medication for Billy’s foot. The veterinarian said he did not see any defects in the dog’s foot and admitted to Russel that he could do nothing for Billy.
Russell’s wife Michelle developed a suspicion that one day she saw Billy running normally in the garden while Russell was away. Russell tried to wander Billy to prove Michelle’s suspicion that it had nothing to do with the foot.
Instead of walking he rode a motorcycle while the dog walked. Billy walks normally. There he found out that the pet only walks like having a limp when he also walks.
