The Motorola Moto G 5G was announced on November 5, 2020, and released on December 7, 2020. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G (8nm) octa-core processor and runs on the Android 10 operating system.

Motorola Moto G 5G is packed with 4GB and 6GB RAM options while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options. It supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The smartphone comes in 6.7 inches size and the display is LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It is built with a glass front, plastic back, and a plastic frame.

The Motorola Moto G 5G comes with a triple-camera that consists of 48-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro). It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for shooting selfies.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C 2.0, FM Radio, NFC, GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, SUPL, and LTEEP. The sensors include a compass, proximity, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (rear-mounted).

The device is powered by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 20W. It was launched in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Gray colors.
