Here’s what Lovely Abella clarified about the wedding gown from Kathryn Bernardo
Kapuso actress-dancer Lovely Abella received bashing because of her wedding gown that Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo gave her.
Lovely and Kathryn became close when they did with the blockbuster movie Hello, Love Goodbye with Alden Richards, Kakai Bautista, and Maymay Entrata.
From working together, their friendship bloom, and years after their first project together they continue to nourish their friendship. In recent Instagram posts of Lovely, she shared several wedding photos. She got married to actor Benj Manalo, the son of Eat Bulaga host Jose Manalo.
The supposed happy and good vibes event was mixed with bashing. After posting a wedding photo, the Lovely Abella shared a photo with Kathryn Bernardo.
In her caption, she addressed the bashers who made negative remarks regarding her wedding that she received from the Kapamilya star. “Grabe pala ang bashers noh? Nandudurog ng puso, di mo alam kung sino at anong klaseng tao sila para manghusga,” she said.
Apparently, there were those who questioned her intention in accepting the wedding gown as a gift from her celebrity friend. “Di ako marunong manggamit para lang bigyan, at higit sa lahat di maatim ng puso ko na manira ng Relasyon, dahil kahit ano pa,” the actress-dancer said.
Then, Lovely stressed that she is a witness of Kathryn’s kind heart and she has no right to say no to a gift from her friend.
“Sabi ko My Ga wag na ako na, pero sabi niya regalo daw niya, wag tayong tumatanggi sa blessings yan ang natutunan ko kasi yan ang way nila to share their blessings at para lalo sila maBlessed kaya sabi ko buti NAIHABOL kasi 2 days na lang kasal ko na,” she shared.
Lovely Abella admitted that as they are also human, they got hurt by the bashing they received. Behind this, she is thankful for the support that Kathryn Bernardo has shown for her wedding day.
