Hyun Bin To Join For The Sequel For “Confidential Assignment”
HYUN BIN – Hyun Bin will be among the cast in the sequel of Korean action-thriller box office hit “Confidential Assignment,” says his agent.
Vast Entertainment, the agency managing Hyun confirmed his return as the North Korean detective Im Cheol-ryung via an Instagram post, according to a report from Inquirer.
“Please look forward to and support Im Cheol-ryung in his new mission,”
Among the cast included in the sequel includes Girls Generation’s Yoo Hae-Jin, Im Yoona, Jin Seon-kyu, and American actor Daniel Henney.
The sequel “Confidential Assignment 2: International,” is set to film in February, based on the report.
Confidential Assignment, which was released in 2017, tells the story of the North Korean special investigation team officer, whose mission is to capture his superior who fled to South Korea.
He teams up with a South Korean detective to help capture the criminal.
