Police Seized P6.1 Million Worth Of Drugs In Makati City

MAKATI CITY – Police have recently arrested four people in a sting operation in Makati City and seized P6.1 million worth of drugs.

According to a report from GMA News’ Balitambayan, the buy-bust operation was conducted at Kalayaan Avenue, Barangay West Rembo in the city on Tuesday evening.

This resulted in the arrest of four suspects. Retrieved from them were illegal drugs with a value of about P6.1 million.

The police deduced that the four suspects arrested are members of a huge syndicate.

The police added that the group is operating in other areas in Metro Manila. One suspect admitted that they supply to drug pushers.

Another suspect said that they were ordered to deliver the drugs in exchange for P5,000. The rest of the suspects made no further statement, based on the report.

The victim was walking on the street when he was shot at the corner between Pacheco and Madrid streets. This was followed by another shot from another riding in tandem, despite the victim lying down.
