Biden Plans To Reverse Trump Policies On Day 1 As President

BIDEN DAY 1 – President-elect Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States. But, what will his starting policies be?

Previously, President Donald Trump wanted to ease travel restrictions. However, the fact remained that the United States was still the country hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As such, Biden plans to block Trump’s plans of easing restrictions of travel to and from the United Kingdom, Europe, and Brazil. Instead, Biden wants to impose a new travel restriction to take effect starting January 26.

Furthermore, authorities require travelers to present a Negative COVID-19 test before their flights. Additionally, wearing face masks will become mandatory on federal property and inter-state travel.

Currently, the United States has no law against not wearing face masks. As such, reports revealed how States with lax health protocols document higher coronavirus cases.

Moreover, Biden wanted to Re-join the Paris Agreement. Back in November 2020, the United States became the first country to formally withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.

Along with this, Biden said he would extend the pause on student loan payments. Amid the pandemic, students struggled to pay of debts as American lost millions of jobs due to the coronavirus. Likewise, Biden also plans to extend eviction restrictions and foreclosures to aid people heavily hit by the pandemic.
