MRT3 Management Launches MRT-3 Trace Contact Tracing App for Passengers

The management of Metro Rail Transit – Line 3 (MRT3) had soft launch of its contact tracing app against COVID-19 spread called MRT-3 Trace.

According to the DOTr MRT-3 Facebook, passengers entering the MRT3 station need to scan the QR code posted in the designated areas then fill the contact tracing form online.  Passengers need only to register at trace.dotrmrt3.gov.ph with mobile data needed.

However, passengers who have no mobile data and web browser may still manually fill out contact tracing forms upon entry at the MRT3 station. MRT-3 director for operations Michael Capati said the full implementation of MRT-3 Trace will be in February 2021.

It also added that the MRT-3 Trace app complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and all personal information shared by passengers will be kept protected and confidential at all times.
