PAGASA – Amihan, Easterlies To Affect PH This January 4, 2021

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day January 4, 2021 (Monday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect Northern and Central Luzon, while the easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to their website, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will be faced by Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN due to the easterlies. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region and rest of Central Luzon. The weather system will bring no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the website, for the Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions, Northern and Central Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
