The passengers were tired when they arrived at the hotel in Batangas this Wednesday morning. Disgust was felt by the passengers, including Fr. Alberic Lazerna.

“Wala kaming makausap na opisyal… There’s no food, number one, no wifi, so we could connect to our parents… This is unacceptable. This is frustrating and disgusting. We cannot touch the bed because they don’t look clean, I’m not exaggerating,” said Lazerna.

Based on the memorandum issued by the IATF on the travel restriction, they must stay inside the quarantine facility for 14 to four days, even if the swab test is still negative.

OWWA is also worried that hotels and quarantine facilities may be full and that it will be difficult to find a place for passengers. Meanwhile, Filipinos, like OFWs, are exempted from the travel ban. Those with foreign passports and tourist visas will not be allowed.
