The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was officially announced on February 11, 2020. The display of the device is a Foldable Dynamic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is sized 6.7” when unfolded.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip comes in a dimension unfolded: 167.3 x 73.6 x 7.2mm and when it’s folded it measures 87.4 x 73.6 x 17.3mm and weighs 183 grams. The screen of the smartphone is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The smartphone is powered by a 2.95GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and runs on Android 10. It is packed with 8GB RAM and 256 internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is packed with 12-megapixel (wide) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) on the rear side. It sports a 10-megapixel (wide) camera on the front for selfies.
The Galaxy Z Flip is fueled by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast battery charging 15W + Wireless charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Bluetooth v5.00, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and USB Type-C.
The phone was launched in Mirror Black, Mirror Purple, Mirror Gold, and Thom Browne Edition colors. Sensors on the device include Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, and ANT+.
