Arnold Clavio shared a post about John Lloyd Cruz
Kapuso journalist Arnold Clavio revealed in his recent Instagram post that A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz is set to return under Brightlight Productions.
The production of former congressman Albee Benitez has been rumored to be pitching a project for Lloydie. Previously, the producer shared a photo with the actor that prompted speculations that the latter will be doing a project.
Then, in an interview, Benitez revealed that his production company is negotiating with John Lloyd and actress Bea Alonzo for their reunion movie. At that time, he said that there was nothing concrete yet regarding the project negotiation.
In the recent IG post of Clavio, he shared a slideshow of his photo with John Lloyd. The post of the Kapuso journalist has this caption: “Isang gabi ng kuwentuhan at tawanan with @johnlloydcruztm.”
Then, Clavio appeared to be hinting about the negotiation between the camp of John Lloyd Cruz and the production company of Albee Benitez. “Abangan ang kanyang pagbabalik sa ilalim ng @brightlightprodph,” the journalist said. However, he did not reveal further details in his post.
Is this proof that John Lloyd’s return under Brightlight Productions is already a done deal? As of the writing, the production company of Benitez has not released yet any statement about this.
When PEP, asked Arnold Clavio about his post, he said that he just incidentally met the A-list actor in a place in Morato, Quezon City. The journalist revealed Lloydie was there as he had a meeting with Direk Bobot Mortiz.
Reportedly, Brightlight Productions will be producing a sitcom for Lloydie and it will be directed by the former Goin Bulilit director.
