This is what direk Topel Lee said about Vhong Navarro
Filmmaker Topel Lee has this reaction to It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro as a comedian.
From being a dancer, Vhong was able to venture into movies and TV shows. He was able to do several projects with prominent comedians and comediennes in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Fortunately, his movie Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim is named as one of the official entries in 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival and is set to be shown on December 25.
Also included in the cast are Barbie Imperial, Benjie Paras, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, Ritz Azul, and Joross Gamboa, based on the article from Bandera. During a recent media conference, Direk Topel shared that they were always happy on the set.
Before the taping, they would always have their “biruan” and “tawanan” moments. “Ang kulit ng mga artista sobrang marami ang cast but it was fun but we were able to pull it off naman,” the filmmaker said. Direk Topel also shared his thought on Vhong Navarro as a comedian.
“Vhong is very talented dami niyang mga ideas niya, sometimes ang dami niyang ini-inject na nuisance na comical actions so pinapabayaan ko lang siya then eventually pasok naman sa character niya ‘yung mga ginagawa niya, fortunately talaga na magaling si Vhong,” the director shared.
On the other hand, Direk Topel said that the other cast members are also doing the same thing in order to have a better outcome in their scenes.
Meawhile, this upcoming movie of Vhong Navarro will be the first big screen project of “PBB Otso” housemates na sina Yamyam Gucong at Fumiya Sanka, as well as for the newbie Ion Perez.
