A Brave Dog Fights A Shark, Leaps Into Water To Protect Owner
BRAVE DOG FIGHTS SHARK – Dogs certainly are man’s best friend and for good reason.
Aside from being loyal and trustworthy, our favorite furry companions could also leap into action and show bravery. This is exactly what a Kelpie named Tilly showed during a family trip to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
The dog’s owner, Jack Strickland filmed the entirety of the incident and posted it on his Instagram last week. In his post, Strickland said:

In the video, you could see the shark in shallow waters as it swam with ominous intent near the beach’s shore. Realizing potential danger, Tilly leaped into the water with no hesitation right on top of the shark, making a huge splash.
Afterward, the shark quickly turned around swimming into deeper waters. Tilly, relentless as it was, followed the shark as it fled. However, a shark will always be a shark and dogs aren’t necessarily its prime predators. Still, Tilly seemed satisfied after fending off the shark.
Following this, Tilly swam back and sat near the shore, soaking in the victorious battle. Here is the full video:
