Arab Guard Pushes Pinay OFW From Roof
GUARD PUSHES PINAY OFW – According to eyewitnesses, an Arab security guard pushed a Filipina OFW from the roof of their building.
Overseas Filipino Workers have thousands of stories of abuse and mistreatment. But, due to their love for their families, most stay to provide a better life for their loved ones.
The OFW known as Janet Calayag was placed under critical care after her head was cracked due to the fall. Along with this, her feet also needed to be cut because of the severe damages.
Calayag was working as an on-call cleaner in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, before the incident, the OFW expressed how she wanted to quit her job due to cuts in her salary. Based on an article from GMA, this led to one of the guards getting angry, leading to the incident.
Currently, there isn’t much information regarding the incident and the security guard in question. Furthermore, the motive of the alleged suspect is still in question.
Meanwhile, Calayag’s family highly doubts that the incident was an accident. Based on witness statements, the guard pushed Calayag from the fourth floor of the building they worked from.
