Virtual Influencers Making More Money As Investors Flood

VIRTUAL INFLUENCERS – Who knew that computer generated or artificial influencers could be making more money than humans?

As technology continues to improve at an exponential rate, the fear has always been robots replacing humans. We’re still far from Skynet levels of doom and despair, however, a new breed of influencers have taken center stage – Virtual Influencers.

In the age of social media and content creation, virtual or computer generated influencers have been on the rise. But, will this be the new norm for “influencers”?

Recently, Riot Games brought forth its latest addition to its roster of League of Legends Champions – Seraphine. However, her release wasn’t just your regular YouTube video showing her abilities. Instead, Riot created an entire persona out of her with her own Instagram, Twitter, and other social media.

To make things more interesting, she’s even part of one of today’s biggest Kpop groups, K/DA. This puts Riot Games at a major advantage in terms of investments and partnerships with big-name brands who usually wouldn’t go for game developers.

Aside from Seraphine, there are several more virtual influencers making a name for themselves. Among these is Aww Imma, an almost life-like virtual influencer. But, don’t let the bright pink hair and quirky dance moves fool you because Imma is making serious bank.

Imma has over 300,000 followers on IG and has partnerships with brands such as LVMH’s Celine. Additionally, Imma had shot editorials with fashion magazines and even participates in viral TikTok challenges.
