The search is on for the next Miss World Philippines
Miss World Philippines Organization announced that the application for the next set of beauty queens has started.
Indeed, Filipinos are big pageant fans as this kind of event is well-celebrated in the Philippines. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, certain adjustments are needed to be made when it comes to holding pageants.
Some major pageants around the globe decided to postpone and waited what could be the next step. In the country, although the Miss Universe Philippines pageant pushed through, the coronation night was held so differently that what happened in other national pageants last year.
For the MWP Organization, the search continues for the next beauty queens who will represent the country in various pageants abroad.
The Miss World Philippines recently released an announcement for this year’s pageant. “The search is on. We are now accepting applicants,” the IG post of MWP stated.
Included in the post are the following requirements:
- A Filipino citizen
- Female, 16 to 28 years old
- At least 5′ 4 in height
- Has never been married nor borne children
- A person with relevance, good moral character, personality, grace and poise
Applicants may download the application form on this site and submit this to [email protected] or [email protected].
The MWP also announced that its male pageant counterpart, Mr. World Philippines, has also started accepting applicants. Here are the requirements:
- Single Filipino Male
- 18 to 29 years old
- At least 5’10 in height
- With the charm and personality of a true Filipino and excels in sports and fitness
