MOIRA DELA TORRE – Filipino singer Moira Dela Torre gave a message to a fan who can relate to her new song ‘Paubaya.’
OPM artist Moira Dela Torre released her new song “Paubaya” on her Youtube Channel on October 23. She and her husband Jason Hernandez wrote the song about unreciprocated love.
The chorus goes “At kung masaya ka sa piling niya / Hindi ko na pipilit pa / Ang tanging hiling ko lang sa kanya / ‘Wag kang paluhain at alagaan ka niya.”
Moira Dela Torre said ‘Paubaya’ is the last track of her ‘Patawad’ album. She said its “the closing song for our winter season.”
The 26-year-old singer’s song broke so many hearts. Well, she’s already known for releasing songs that can punch you right through your heart. But this time, it’s a bit different because her fans started sharing their heartbreaking experiences online to release what they are feeling.

A netizen named “Sachi” caught the attention of the singer after she shared her failed love story on social media. She said she can really relate to the song because she had to let go of her partner who “knocked up a random girl at a bar.”
She said her boyfriend chose the other girl because he couldn’t let his child grow up without a father. A lot were shocked by the ending of her story.
“The girl was 4 months pregnant at this time and they had a civil wedding after just a week or two. Within the same month, I was rushed to the hospital because I suddenly felt dizzy and passed out. The doctor broke the news to me — I was 7 weeks pregnant,” she said.
Moira Dela Torre was among the people who was touched by Sachi’s story. On her Facebook Page on Monday, October 26, she reposted her story. In the caption, she thanked her for sharing her story and told her that she’s not alone.
The singer said she’s raised by a single mom and like her, her mom also had to ‘Paubaya.’ She said she salutes all the single parents who are living through the challenges of raising their kids alone.
“ISANG MAHIGPIT NA YAKAP SA LAHAT NG SINGLE MOM. On behalf of your children, gusto po namin magpasalamat sa araw araw na pinili niyo kami. SALUDO PO KAMI SA INYO,” Moira said.
