Retailers On Mall-Wide Sales: “Not Like Pre-COVID”

RETAILERS ON MALL-WIDE SALES – Recently the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases approved mall-wide sales.

Several quarantine restrictions were lowered as the number of cases in the country begin to decline. Among these was lifting the ban on mall-wide sales.

As a response to the recent announcement, the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) vowed they would follow minimum health protocols. Along with this, they emphasized that strict physical distancing would be imposed.

Meanwhile, during an Interview with Teleradyo, PRC President Rosemarie Ong said:

She added that future mall-sales won’t be like pre-COVID times where there’d be large crowds. Additionally, she expects that LGUs would assist them in imposing discipline.

Customers are required to have basic protective equipment such as face mask and face shields. Crowd Control measured would also be strictly followed. Furthermore, Ong said markings would be placed and that they’d ensure the safety of the customers.
