Dimples Romana Shares Showbiz Career Journey, Gives Advice to Letter Sender

DIMPLES ROMANA – Celebrity endorser and popular actress Dimples Romana shared her showbiz career journey and gave advice to a letter sender.

Celebrity endorser and popular actress Dimples Romana was recognized as the Philippines’s most trending actress in 2019 after playing the role Daniela Mondragon in the hit afternoon drama “Kadenang Ginto.” She’s also dubbed as the “Daytime Teleserye Queen.”

The 35-year-old actress had been playing supporting roles before she got her breakthrough role as Dani Girl. In a previous article, she said that she’s happy that all her hard work in the show business bore fruit.

Dimples Romana became Bianca Gonzalez’s celebrity guest in her latest “Paano Ba To” vlog. The Kapamilya host uploaded the video on her Youtube Channel on Monday, September 28.

Gonzalez asked the prominent actress to give advice to a letter sender who worried she might not have her breakthrough. Dimples said she can relate to the letter sender’s feelings.

Dimples Romana told Bianca Gonzalez that there was this instance when someone said she’s good but she only keeps playing best friend roles.

“I remember this lighting director of ours who called me long time ago and ang sabi, ‘Dimps alam mo muntik ko nang sagutin ‘yung kausap ko sa grocery. Nakita niya na parang pinapanood ko our show The Greatest Love. And ang sabi niya: Tingnan mo si Dimples sayang noh ang galing naman niya kaya lang lagi na lang siyang best friend…’”

“Alam mo Biancs iniisip ko talaga if I took offense during that time, it’s going to mess with my head and I won’t be able to function like the usual and hindi ko maabot ‘yung pangarap ko na kung lahat na lang ng hindi magagandang bagay na sasabihin sa akin ay ikakasama ng loob ko,” she added.

Dimples Romana said her “best friend roles” actually helped her put a roof over her head. She advised the letter not to compare herself with others because we all have different paths in life.

“I would also pray [for letter sender] na you would have a heart that is patient, a heart that will embrace every single thing that is beautiful in your journey right now because when the time comes that it is going to be a breakthrough for you, it is going to be sweeter,” she said.
