Did the BuDaKhel guesting on AOS made a difference in the rating?
Last Sunday, the group of Bugoy Drilon, Daryl Ong, and Michael Pangilinan, also known as BuDaKhel guested on GMA’s All-Out Sundays.
Individually, these three male singers were able to establish their names already in the Philippine music scene. Fortunately, together, they also clicked as a group and their song covers on YouTube are becoming popular not only in the country but also abroad.
However, amid the ABS-CBN franchise issue, their names were dragged into an issue. Daryl claimed that a boss in the Kapamilya network banned him from ABS-CBN due to the conversation he had with Bugoy and Michael about the franchise issue.
Last March, the trio guested on the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga. That was for the promotion of their concert  BUDAKHEL Live: Best of the ‘90s. Based on the article from PEP, they weren’t able to promote on ABS-CBN their concert that was supposed to happen on March 20 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater ng Resorts World Manila.
It was postponed because the community quarantine was implemented on March 15. Last Sunday, they made an appearance on the Kapuso musical variety show.
Based on AGB-NUTAM rating, on September 20, All-Out Sundays got 5.3 percent while on September 27, the day of BuDaKhel’s guesting, the show got 5.9 percent.
Does this mean, they helped raised the rating of the show? Meanwhile, columnist Gorgy Rula said that the guesting of trio was quite “bitin” for him while columnist Jerry Olea said that the male singers from ABS-CBN were the highlight of AOS and he hoped that the group will have more gigs on GMA.
What can you say about this?
