Reality Show Sends Winners To Space For Out Of This World Experience
REALITY SHOW SENDS WINNERS TO SPACE – A lot of us look up in the night sky in awe of the heavens and the things that surround it.
For as long as human history is concerned, our species have always had a fascination with the stars. Now, that fascination has grown exponentially that even reality shows are involved.
A new show called “Space Hero” plans to give its winners a literal out-of-this world experience – a trip to space. According to an article from CNN, a press release by Space Hero said:
Space Hero will provide an opportunity for anyone from any background to become the first globally-elected space explorer to take part in a mission to the International Space Station
Usually, you’d see game shows have cash prizes from around a couple hundred dollars to millions. Still, these prizes can’t compare to the value of Space Hero’s as going to space is not cheap. As per the article, Space Hero founding partner Deborah Sass said the show’s prize was worth $65 million.
However, this isn’t the first show to promise a trip to space. Back in 2013, an organization known as Mars One planned to have 100 people compete for four spots on a one-way trip to Mars. But, this program fell flat as the technology for Mars travel had yet to be invented.
